1. About Handovr
Handovr is a marketplace platform that facilitates the buying and selling of verified, pre-owned electronic devices. We act as an intermediary — handling verification, logistics, payment processing, and documentation — between independent buyers and sellers.
Handovr is operated by Handovr Technologies, based in Delhi NCR, India.
2. Eligibility
- You must have a valid email address for OTP-based authentication.
- You must provide truthful and accurate information during registration and listing creation.
- Government-issued ID may be required for seller verification and trust score eligibility.
3. Accounts
When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You agree to:
- Not share your OTP or account access with anyone.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Listings & Selling
As a seller, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your device — including model, storage, condition, battery health, accessories, and any defects.
- Upload genuine photos of the actual device being sold.
- Not list stolen, counterfeit, or legally disputed devices.
- Make the device available for in-person verification by our agent within a reasonable timeframe.
- Accept that Handovr charges payment gateway fees on successful sales.
Listings that are misleading, inaccurate, or violate our policies will be removed. Repeat violations may result in permanent account suspension.
5. Buying & Payments
As a buyer, you agree to:
- Pay the listed price plus any applicable delivery fees through our secure payment gateway (Razorpay).
- Understand that payments are held in escrow until the device is verified and delivered.
- Inspect the device during the open-box delivery and accept it only if it matches the listing. Once accepted, all sales are final.
- Not attempt to contact sellers off-platform to circumvent the Handovr process.
6. Verification & Quality
Every device undergoes our 16-point verification process conducted by a trained Handovr agent. This includes IMEI checks, hardware tests, cosmetic inspection, and software verification.
- If a device fails verification, the order is automatically cancelled and the buyer receives a full refund.
- Handovr does not open, disassemble, or modify any device during inspection.
- Verification results are documented and may be shared with both buyer and seller.
7. Returns & Refunds
- We operate a strict No Returns policy after you have accepted the open-box delivery.
- Returns due to buyer's change of mind or any post-delivery quality concerns are not accepted.
- Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days to the original payment method.
- Devices that have been physically damaged, modified, or tampered with after delivery are not eligible for return.

8. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Use the platform to sell stolen, lost, or counterfeit goods.
- Engage in off-platform transactions to avoid Handovr's protections.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, Handovr staff, or verification agents.
- Attempt to manipulate trust scores, reviews, or listing data.
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the platform.
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions or restrictions.
9. Limitation of Liability
Handovr acts as a facilitator. While we verify devices and protect transactions, we do not:
- Own, manufacture, or provide any warranty for the devices sold on our platform.
- Guarantee the longevity or performance of any pre-owned device after delivery is accepted.
- Accept liability for issues arising from software updates, manufacturer recalls, or third-party modifications made after purchase.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the transaction value of the specific order in question.
10. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between buyer and seller:
- Both parties agree to first attempt resolution through Handovr's support team.
- Disputes may be escalated via WhatsApp or the Contact Us page.
- Handovr's determination, based on verification evidence and platform logs, is final and binding.
- Any unresolved legal disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, India.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use of Handovr after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
